Forestry Mulching is the use of one machine to turn the existing vegetation into mulch on the spot!
The machine uses a rotary drum equipped with steel chipper knives or teeth to shred the vegetation.
Traditional land clearing can create more problems than they solve at a higher cost.
Beaver Mulching provides a number of benefits over the outdated method of chain sawing and putting the vegetation through a chipper then hauling the mulch off site or heaping and burning the vegetation... there is no burning required which means there's no smoke pollution. The vegetation is mulched into small particles rite there and then, and left to break down into the soil.
The benefit is that there is no double handling, faster vegetation control, prevent soil erosion, nutrients go back into the soil, cost effective solution.
The mulcher is used to take down trees and run over the vegetation on the ground to mulch them into fine wood chips, in less time it would take labourers to cut down and load branches into a chipper or cart them away to the burn pile this process has already been completed!
